Eleanor Marie (24 Jan 1926 m: Charles Allen Rhodes). William H. was murdered by his son John over an argument about his chemistry grades at the Univ of Illinois. Son was doing chores with his father in the barn when they got in an argument. John hit his Dad over the head and burnt the barn to conceal the crime. Oscea tried to take the rap but John was convicted at trial in Lawrenceville and served 20 years in the state prison.
