About Freeman Cemetery:
Johann F Holste and seven of his eleven children died of Cholera during the week following 29 June 1852. They were buried here in this small plot by Henry Boden, the brother of the wife and mother, Sophia Dorothea (Bode/Boden). She was born 13 Nov 1807 in Stolzenau, Germany. After the death of Johann, she married Gottleib Ritchard and is buried in Lancaster Cemetery.
